I've been lagging way too much and I thought my specs would deal with the heat. It makes group play or walking through a town unbearable. Any tips or tricks?

Not currently playing. I did play for about 2 months and got a toon to max level. I was kind of forced into trying this game out by a friend.
Was surprised how much I enjoyed it. It has some of the best graphics and sound of any game out right now. You can start grouping pretty much right away for dungeon crawls. Love the non tab target combat. Felt visceral on my Guardian. I can honestly say I never had so much fun smashing my shield into a mob's face. Character development was a lot deeper than I expected it to be.
Thought the pvp was good. Enjoyed it from 10 to 60. Never felt pay to win to me, I spent a total of 20 dollars in the cash shop and always felt competitive...used the money to buy a bind to account mount. Rarely I would run up against someone who obviously had spent a ton of money and destroyed me, but for the most part it wasn't a problem.
Game needs more classes, more pvp maps, and my biggest problem was people exploiting through dungeons at high level. Its definitely not a super deep game and you will get bored if you are a hardcore 12 hour a day gamer. But for f2p this was a shining star in 2013. Much better than a lot of the triple A mmos which have come out over the last few years in my opinion.
Do not understand for the life of me why this game was so poorly received. I will be going back to it from time to time to check it out.
They will be adding a matching system based on the elo system used in chess.
They are also adding several new pvp armor sets that can be acquired soley through pvp and perhaps will also be sellable on the auction house.
Don't know what they are going to do about grym coins and gg gear but they may be phasing it out to replace It with something else.
They are also putting in a leaver penalty so the first 2 people to leave a match and the first 5 to
leave a gg match will be unable to que for anything for 30 minutes.
Is it possible to install the game without the Arc thing? From what I can tell, it's basically some Steam / Origin deal for Perfect World stuff, complete with a browser overlay. I don't want any of that, so is it possible to download the client anywhere without it?
Kind of felt like giving the game another try on a whim, but not if I have to deal with yet more crap like that.

Spring of 2014 release if you translate the information here via Google Translate.
Trying to rearrange my HUD but can't. I click on the rearrange HUD it goes to the screen but it won't let me have a curser to move things. All the boxes are there but I can't grab them and move them around, the curser just moves the entire screen around.
Maybe someone can answer this question. I have an Alien PC and whenever I turn the game on it turns off my backlit keyboard and only lights it in red when I'm about to die! Is this just the normal game play or should I contact the Devs to find out why it does this. Ruins my evening play. I can't see the keys with the lights off!
Just wondering, when will Drow be open for everyone and any note about Scourge Warlocks?
I hit 60 on my CW and 40 on my Gwf, quit due to the limitations of classes and races and still, these guys haven't sent any new information on any of these.
Anyone have any inside info?
I played for a couple weeks after release.. I'm not sure why I quit, but I was watching some videos of the new class and other things.
What's different about the game, if anything?
How's the population, and the community?
Is it pay to win?
Anything that I should know if I am to return, or any opinions on why I should stay away from the game?

Just got done downloading the game. I couldn't play 10mins without getting a headache because of blurriness. No, I dont' need glasses. The UI was crisp and fine, but the graphics were blurry. Anyone know why? I messed with the advanced setting for about 30mins going from lowest to highest to just turning stuff on and off, messing with resolution, etc. What is the deal?
My specs if it matters:
8 gigs ram 1333MHz,
NVidia 550m 2gb
i7-2670QM 2.2GHz
Win7
Not a great laptop by any means but I can play SWTOR maxed setings without shadows, Skyrim on high with 40fps, GW2 high with some settings maxed. I just want to play this game, or at least try it out. Been a fan of D&D lore for years. Any help would be appreciated.
Playing from the beginning, 3 lvl 60s, main is cleric with 14k gear score. Did all elite dungeons, so yeah, I can call myself advanced player here.
I painfully finished Sharandar hoping that after grinding there will be some magic "puff" and I will see some point of my stupid dedication.
Now Dread Ring came, and guess what - it is basically the same grind, with dumbed down mini (or should I say micro) dungeons where I kill boss in less than 2 minutes with my cleric without any pet or stone or cat (?????) and get well-deserved crap reward for it.
Waiting in random queue during Dungeon Delves to do anything else than Pirate King is pointless now (well VT wasn't just after the patch because it was popular and people used final boss exploit so there was quite dedicated group every time, but now it's over). Why? Because of jerks who jump in and out, go afk, disconnect, and you have next to 0 chance to replace them with someone due to deeply flawed matchmaking system.
So, what to do in this game? Winter festival? Another mega grind with crap reward. Any other content? Like, 2 lvl 60 skirmishes? Make ranger alt (you cannot even just shoot your bow you need red mob for it...)
So what is the point of playing, I do not know now. Solo content is TOO EASY and basically non-existent at lvl 60, group content is partly limited to guilds (for some people it is a problem to watch/listen stupid guild chat), with crap matchmaking, PvP is a bad joke...
So, after spending, like 6-7 (or is it more now?) months doing stupid grind for nothing, I can rightfully call myself stupid and naive, too. it comes as a shock, because I thought I am smarter than that, but obviously Neverwinter team did outstanding job of fooling me into their game.
No one will give me back my time I invested in this game. But people who are considering sacrificing time to this game and expecting something in return, please acknowledge:
there is NO REWARD in this game, just grind, grind and then grind which is endgame grind to get ready for next patch grind.
I've built a Control Wizard and I'm wondering what to pick as a third profession. I've already picked Leadership and Tailoring but don't have any idea what to pick for the third profession that would be for the Control Wizard. Any suggestions would be helpful and appreciated.
One other question, and support didn't help me. Where does one go to gain access to the forums and be able to post. I can get to the forums and read them but it tells me I need to log in to be able to post. I can't find any place where I can log in. Where can I find the log in?!

Neverwinter: Shadowmantle is coming! I wasn't able to bring you the trailer, but I do bring you a link to an article that pertains to the reveal itself. Have you been waiting for the Hunter class to come? Well, your wait is almost over The Hunter Ranger class will FINALLY be coming to the game, and so will a good number of Paragon Paths.
Ok, so I get motion sickness quite a bit, but no game has done that to me since Quake 3. Until I played Neverwinter's beta weekend 2.
Neverwinter's graphics makes me dizzy and nauseous with mouselook on. Every little bump of the mouse turns me around somewhere else and I want to vomit.
Throught the beta weekend I'd log in and ask for help and the only response was to turn off the UI. That's fine and all for screenshots or whatever.
Have they fixed it yet so you can disable mouselook? Or should I skip this game?
